Prince Andrew sued by Epstein survivor Virginia Roberts Giuffre over alleged sex abuse
The i says Prince Andrew is being sued by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, a survivor of the sex trafficking ring operated by the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who alleges the duke sexually abused her when she was 17.
Ms Roberts Giuffre alleges that Prince Andrew abused her on separate occasions in 2001 and 2002 in London, New York and on Epstein’s private island in the US.
The federal lawsuit, filed on Monday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, seeks damages from the duke, who is likely to face pressure to submit to cross-examination.
