The Guardian – Pressure grows on Sunak to sack Braverman over clash with police
The Guardian says the PM is under growing pressure to sack Suella Braverman after she ignored Downing Street’s advice and published an explosive article accusing the Metropolitan Police of political bias.
The paper says Labour has “sought to pile pressure” on Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, with shadow cabinet office minister Pat McFadden writing to him to say that to “do nothing” about the article would be a “display of weakness”.
