Premier League fixtures today – 13/03 – Struggling Luton away to Bournemouth 

Wednesday night football is back with relegation zone strugglers Luton heading to Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth. Luton sit in 18th place and even if they secure all three points, there’s no guarantee it’ll be enough to lift them out of the relegation zone. They’ll need a convincing win to leapfrog Nottingham Forest – currently three points ahead, with a one-goal difference. 

Bournemouth are in 13th in the PL table, and securing all three points will likely not move them above Fulham – unless they can score more than eight goals. 

The bottom half of the table is tight and with only 10 games or so left, every point is vital. Both teams desperately need the three points, but for Luton, it’s far more important for them to get all three if they want to have any hope of not being relegated back down to the Championship next season.
