Premier League fixtures this weekend – 13/04 & 14/04
The Premier League returns this weekend as the race for the title heats up. Liverpool’s shock 3-0 defeat to Atalanta at Anfield in the Europa League means Sunday’s Premier League match is a must-win. Thursday’s performance has been noted as the worst Liverpool performance under Jurgen Klopp and with Europa dreams slipping away, surely the Reds will now turn their attention to winning the Premier League.
Liverpool face Crystal Palace on Sunday, top of the league Arsenal face Villa on Sunday – whilst hot on their heels Man City have the chance to go top of the table, if only for one day, if they beat Luton.

Premier League fixtures this Sunday 14 April
Sunday’s fixtures are massively important for the title race. It should be a routine win for Liverpool – at home at Anfield – but after the shock of Thursday’s Europa League performance, you can be forgiven for questioning if Liverpool can mentally recover and refocus on the PL.
Arsenal will play Villa at the Emirates – perhaps the most interesting match of the weekend – if Arsenal bottles this game, it could see the title slip away from them.

Premier League table as it stands
The current English Premier League table – as it stands before Saturday and Sunday’s matches. The race for the title is so close, with Arsenal and Liverpool only separated on goal difference and Man City only one point behind, it might be the hardest PL title to predict.
A win for Villa would be massive – moving them into fourth place and setting them up for a good chance of staying fourth.
