‘Aston Villa back in top four’
Saturday’s Premier League matches saw Everton secure a 2-2 draw with Tottenham with a late goal. The draw sees Spurs drop out the top four and Everton, who remain in the relegation zone, have put further space between them and the bottom two. They have a much better goal difference than Nottingham Forest and Luton and a path out of the danger zone is very clear for the toffees.
Brighton beat Palace 4-1 to move into 7th, whilst Burnley and Fulham drew 2-2, with Fulham moving into 12th the draw did little for Burnley who remain in 19th with a shocking goal difference.
Newcastle managed a late goal to secure a point against Luton in an end-to-end thriller that saw eight goals. Luton moved into 16th whilst Newcastle made no progress.
Aston Villa put 5 goals past Sheffield United to move back into fourth place, whilst Sheffield remains rooted at the bottom.
