Rihanna proved to be the only girl in the world we would wait for as she made a fashionably late entrance to the Met Gala 2023.
The pregnant singer, who is expecting her second child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, teased us all with her arrival at the exclusive event over the weekend.
However, while a string of famous faces made their way into the event – held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York – the 35-year-old left us all hanging on until the very final moment to arrive, on the arm of her rapper beau.
Of course, she made it completely worth the wait, posing in a crisp white gown, complete with a headdress of flowers and a dramatic train.
She paired the gown with vintage sunglasses and a bright red lip, before transforming her look as she made her way up the infamous stairs.
Although she was among the last arrivals, the expectant mom didn’t rush into the star-studded party, and put on a show for the photographers.

RiRi pulled her floral jacket down to reveal the dress in its entirety, complete with a flower in the center of the bust.
Rocky, who was by his partner’s side, was seen stepping back and proudly watching on as the Umbrella singer commanded attention with her poses.
The rapper dressed up for the occasion, opting for a black blazer, on top of a white shirt and black tie – which he paired with distressed jeans and a kilt.

Rihanna is no stranger to the Met Gala, and has proven herself to be the queen of the annual bash thanks to her daring looks.
Who could forget when she set social media alight without even trying in 2015, with that yellow Guo Pei gown, which got the meme treatment.
Rihanna recently made headlines when she put on a show-stopping performance at the Super Bowl Halftime show in February, where she confirmed her second child is on the way.

The couple are already parents to an adorable little boy they welcomed last year – but are yet to share his name publicly.
Spilling the beans on motherhood, she told Vogue Magazine: ‘It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever.
‘You literally try to remember it – and there are photos of my life before – but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far.’
