The death of a baby found at home has been confirmed as ‘unexplained,’ police say.
Humberside Police released a statement today regarding the incident in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire.
Officers had been called to Corfe Walk earlier this month after a child died at a property there.
No cause of death has been confirmed and the death has been described as ‘unexplained’.
Officers are now trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
In a statement, Humberside Police said: ‘Officers were in attendance on Corfe Walk in Immingham following reports of a death of an infant on Friday March 3.
‘An investigation is under way as we look to establish the circumstances surrounding the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.’
