Sunday Times – PM swelters over Freedom Day mayhem 

“Mayhem” is the situation facing the prime minister’s 19 June plans, reports the Sunday Times, with Britain facing disruption to food supplies, transport networks and industry. As an increasing number of workers are being told to self-isolate, sectors – including the London Underground – are feeling the effects.

 The paper notes that it emerged last week that 530,126 Test and Trace alerts telling people to self-isolate for 10 days were sent – a 46% increase on the previous week.
