Plymouth shooting: Child among six people confirmed dead after gunman opens fire
The Mirror: Five people including a child were shot dead when a gunman opened fire on a street in Plymouth.
Police confirmed the devastating news that three females and three males, one of which was the shooter, all died in the terrifying rampage on Thursday evening.
Horrified witnesses reported hearing “loud bangs” and “gun shots” as the deadly spree began in the Keyham area at about 6pm.
One said she saw a man “randomly” start shooting at people, though police have said the tragic incident is not terror related.
Most of those killed in what was a rare mass shooting in the UK were not known to the gunman, Plymouth Live reports.
One woman who saw the horrifying scenes unfold said the gunman kicked down the door of a house and fired before letting off shots while running down a road.
She described the deaths as “horrendous and so sad.”
