Back in February, EastEnders teased fans with a look forward to Christmas day, with a body on the floor and six potential killers surrounding it.
Ever since that epic episode, fans have been searching every episode, trailer and interview for clues as to what could be set to happen, and as the big day draws near we are getting closer and closer to the big reveal.
But it isn’t just fans who have been kept in the dark about who The Six are set to kill, with EastEnders cast members also ‘playing detective’ in an attempt to work out who is set to be at the centre of this highly anticipated storyline.
Elaine Peacock actress Harriet Thorpe has expressed her enthusiasm for the storyline, saying that it is ‘brilliant’.
‘We’ve all gone the full Sherlock Holmes, as you can imagine! Everyone in the cast is playing detective, and it’s great that none of us know. It’s all part of the joy.’

It is set to be Harriet’s first Christmas as Elaine, and she will surely be at the centre of the action as the Queen Vic takes centre stage, something which she ‘cannot wait’ for.
‘I am so thrilled and honoured to be part of this team that creates something so important socially to so many people. It also gives people an escape and some fun at Christmas.

However much we are looking forward to Christmas, it seems that we have nothing on Elaine, who is ready to take the festive season to the next level.

Elaine is in her absolute element as she leads the Christmas light switch on, and even when things start to go wrong she won’t let it bring her down.
