‘He’s A Liar!’ Piers Morgan Blasts Omid Scobie

Piers Morgan has sparked outrage after naming two senior royals who allegedly had “concerns” over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie’s skin colour prior to his birth.

The presenter identified the individuals on his TalkTV show, and even later posted to his social media followers on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The claims were released in Omid Scobie’s book Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival, however, only in the Netherlands edition which included an extra paragraph that identified them.

In the English version of Endgame, Scobie said he is aware of the identity of the two individuals but has been prohibited by law from publishing the information in the UK.

Piers has since broken his silence on the claims, sharing his own “outrage” over the situation on X.

The former Good Morning Britain presenter shared his desire for the British media to cover the matter, as the Dutch know more than us about the Royals.

He wrote: “I’m outraged too – that the rest of the British media hasn’t done the same!

“Why should British people be barred from knowing what Dutch people know about OUR Royal Family?”

Omid has since denied naming the “royal racist” in Endgame and blames an “error” in the Dutch version.

Appearing on the Dutch chat show RTL Boulevard, he said: “The book is in several languages, and unfortunately I do not speak Dutch.

“But if there are translation errors, I’m sure the publishers will have it under control.”

The publishers have since announced the translated version was being “recalled and pulped” over the explosive publishing error.

The publishing house, Xander Uitgevers, announced on Tuesday that it’s “temporarily withdrawing” the book.

The royals are now also reportedly taking legal advice after Piers’ claims, with Buckingham Palace “considering all options”, according to The Mirror.

The royals are also feeling “utter dismay” after the names circulated online, with the above outlet also claiming the royals have dismissed the names as “nonsense”.

Back in March 2021, Meghan Markle told Oprah Winfrey during an interview that a member of the royal family shared concerns about her son’s skin colour before his birth.

Prince Harry and Meghan never publicly named the person, but Harry ruled out the possibility that it could be his late grandparents – Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
