From running to tennis, there’s an Olympic sport for every nudist (Picture: Jam Press)
A group of sport-loving nudists have held their own Olympics – with all competitors playing in their birthday suits.
From volleyball to boules, the naturists spent the weekend flexing their talents at the Yorkshire Sun Society in Hull from July 19 to 21.
The event was organised by British Naturism, who were getting into the spirit of sport with the 2024 Paris Olympics set to begin later this week.
Naturists would argue their weekend was closer to the ancient Olympics in Greece, where competitors took part naked.
Tickets to the event cost up to £70, which included a camping spot with an electrical hook-up.
The venue also featured an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna for the athletes to relax in after a long day competing.
The 26-acre woodland-based club also offered nude walks around the grounds, if that tickles your fancy.
British Naturism advertised the event and said: ‘The weekend is fun and you are free to enjoy the sporting events or just chill out as you wish.
‘We have the following sports available: Miniten, Boules, Pool Volleyball, 8-ball Pool and indoor games, all equipment will be available and the members will teach you how to play those games you have not tried before.
‘The club has a wonderfully maintained indoor pool, Hot Tub and Sauna for your use through the weekend.
‘Other facilities are; a centrally heated clubhouse with a licensed bar and a large kitchen used by members and visitors for self-catering.
‘Other facilities include TV, Wi-Fi, Library, etc. As well as the usual toilets and showers.
‘The club is located in 26 acres of beautiful woodland with several walks available, backtrack, the meadows and the river walk.’
In 2016 at the Rio Olympic Games, nudists held naked games on the beach in a tribute to the original way of doing Olympic Sports.
