Paris gang jailed for string of burglaries on high-profile figures
The i says a Paris gang has been jailed for a string of burglaries on the homes of several high-profile celebrities including the former Paris Saint-Germain footballer Thiago Silva.
Seven men and one woman were accused of targeting high-profile figures in Paris between 2018 and 2019 and stealing items worth an estimated €4.2m (£3.6m).
Other victims included another former Paris Saint-Germain footballer, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, TV host Patrick Sébastien, rapper Booba and chef Jean-Pierre Vigato.
