Owen Warner keen to head back into I’m A Celebrity jungle with none other than Sir David Attenborough and Drake

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! contestant Owen Warner may have had his fair share of bushtucker trials and insects all over him, but he’s ready to go at it again.

The Hollyoaks actor, 23, came second place on the ITVX reality competition, which was won by Lioness Jill Scott and saw former health secretary Matt Hancock take third place.

And even though he was desperate for a proper meal when he left the jungle, he’s now ready to go back in.

An all-stars line-up including the likes of Jordan Banjo and Carol Vorderman are taking the critters on again, in a special series airing later this year.

And while Owen may not be part of that A-list group any time soon, he’s put forward the two names he’d be desperate to go back into the jungle with – and it’s not who we were expecting.

In an exclusive chat with Metro.co.uk at the Royal Television Society Awards, Owen said: ‘I’m saying yes now, but that’s because I’ve not been through it for a while.

‘It happened a few months ago, so I forgot how traumatic it was not eating food – but I feel like yeah, I’d do it.

‘I’d make sure I wrote in my contract thought, a certain amount of calories a day, because they didn’t give me enough calories.’

Talking about who he’d want to take into the jungle with him, Owen answered: ‘David Attenborough, because the thing is, the days get long.

‘If I’m sat there with David Attenborough and he’s sat there talking about all the insects and animals around me, that’s constant entertainment.’

And of course, Drake to spit some bars (Picture: Prince Williams/Wireimage)

But the Blue Planet legend isn’t the only one Owen wants in the jungle with him.

Despite Mike Tindall and Jill showing off their rapping skills, Owen wants Drake too.

‘Maybe Drake to spit some bars as well.

‘David Attenborough and Drake, imagine that link up!’

Now all we have to do is call on Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to make it happen.
