Around 1,500 people have been evacuated from a museum in the Black Country after a fire broke out at a chip shop.
Two fire engines from West Midlands Fire Service were at the scene of the Dudley attraction, and have since extinguished the blaze.
The Black Country Living Museum is an open-air, living history museum spread over 10 hectares of land and exploring the history of the Black Country.
It has two fish and chip shops on-site which are often popular with visitors, one of which was set ablaze this afternoon.
However, fire crews from Dudley and Tipton managed to get the fire under control by around 5.30pm, with West Midlands Fire Service later announcign that: ‘The fire has been extinguished and we have left the incident.’
The museum is located directly beside the Birmingham Canal in Dudley, near Dudley Castle.
