Ousmane Dembele closes in on Chelsea transfer with Barcelona contract rebel’s agent in ‘advanced negotiations’
The Sun says CHELSEA are reportedly closing in on soon-to-be free agent Ousmane Dembele with the player’s agent in advanced negotiations with the Premier League club.
The Frenchman joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 in a £126million transfer but injuries hampered his stay at the Nou Camp.
Dembele started to find his feet late on this season under Xavi, scoring two and registering 13 assists.
But despite Xavi and Barca previously being keen on extending Dembele’s stay at the club, the two parties won’t reach an agreement.
According to Cadena Ser, Barca will not present a new proposal to the player.
