Oscars 2022: Lady Gaga and Spider-Man snubbed as Andrew Garfield nets surprise nomination
The Metro says This year’s Oscar nominations have been announced, with The Power of the Dog leading the way on 12 nods, and plenty of love for Dune, Belfast and West Side Story – but it’s all change in the acting categories.
The 94th annual Academy Awards is on Sunday March 27 and set to return in style this time with the regular number of nominees and guests attending after the Covid pandemic prevented a normal ceremony from taking place in 2021.
The show will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, and will be televised live in the United States on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide as it announces this year’s winners.
