Omid Scobie could name the allegedly “racist” royal who questioned the colour of Prince Archie’s skin in his latest book about Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the Royal Family, it has been claimed.
The biographer recently unveiled the cover of his book Endgame, following his 2020 release Finding Freedom, with its description on Amazon calling it: “A penetrating investigation into the current state of the British monarchy – an unpopular king, a power-hungry heir to the throne, a queen willing to go to dangerous lengths to preserve her image and a prince forced to start a new life after being betrayed by his own family.”
The book is said to be jam-packed full of royal secrets, with a source telling The Mail on Sunday: “I’ve been told this is bad, very bad. It is unlikely that Royal aides will comment, but if there are charges of racism, they will, of course, be robustly rebutted.”
A publishing source in America added: “The word is this is going to have bombshell after bombshell. Some are even speculating it may name the person who questioned what colour Archie’s skin would be.
“Everyone knows Omid is the Sussexes’ unofficial mouthpiece, so it’s fair to say there will be a huge deal of interest in this book on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Mr Scobie’s book Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival is due to be published on November 28, having been delayed from its original planned release in August so it could include content from the Coronation.
It is not known if the author spoke to the Sussexes directly, although he has claimed he interviewed family members, close friends and former Palace staff.
Publisher Harper Collins has previously said that the book will “have the world talking”, and Mr Scobie has warned the royals will be “ashamed” of some of its contents.
It would certainly make headlines if Scobie decides to name which royal allegedly questioned what colour Meghan and Harry’s firstborn skin would be.

Harry and Meghan gave an explosive interview to Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, in which they claimed that while the Duchess was pregnant with their son Archie one royal had questioned how dark his skin would be.
Meghan said at the time that there were “concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he was born”, adding: “That was relayed to me from Harry. Those were conversations that family had with him.”
She declined to reveal who it was who had made the comments, explaining: “That would be very damaging to them.”
After the interview aired the Firm released a statement regarding the racism allegation: “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.

“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.
“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”
In promotional interviews for his book Spare earlier this year Harry denied ever labelling his family as racist, instead claiming their comments were an indication of “unconscious bias”.
