Daily Mirror – Now get them justice
“Now get them justice,” writes the Daily Mirror, following the findings of the Grenfell Inquiry. The front page pictures the victims of the fire. The paper also notes there are still more than 4,600 residential buildings in England with unsafe cladding.
Elsewhere, the the paper also reports on the latest scandal to hit Oasis since the band announced their reunion tour. The paper says the band hit out against the practice known as “dynamic pricing”, which allows the price of tickets to rise in response to demand. The band left all decisions to management regarding ticket sales the paper adds.
Grenfell families who lost loved ones to greed must STILL wait for justice after seven years of pain
All 72 Grenfell Tower victims died needlessly after a catalogue of complacency, greed and dishonesty, the damning report into the inferno revealed.
And grieving relatives yesterday told of their fury at the deadly failings that condemmed 54 adults and 16 children to horrific deaths, as they demanded those responsible face criminal charges.
The long-awaited inquiry report into the 2017 disaster by chairman Sir Martin Moore-Bick blamed a string of organisations and authorities.
They include the government for ignoring safety warnings over cladding on the West London tower, dishonest firms that flogged the flammable material and fire brigade chiefs who did not learn lessons from previous high-rise blazes.
Oasis deny they knew anything about ticket dynamic pricing hikes in furious statement
Oasis have denied that they anything about ticket pricing hikes in a new statement as they announce two more shows in London’s Wembley stadium.
In an announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter on Wednesday evening, Manchester-born brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher broke their silence as they announced the extra shows – much to the delight of their fans.
The announcement read: “Two extra Wembley Stadium shows have been added due to phenomenal demand. Tickets will be sold by a staggered, invitation-only ballot process. Applications to join the ballot will be opened first to the many UK fans who were unsuccessful in the initial on sale with Ticketmaster.”
