November rail strikes to go ahead
The RMT union has announced more rail strikes – on 3, 5 and 7 November – over pay and work conditions.
RMT boss Mick Lynch accused Network Rail of “dishonesty” in negotiations and the RMT accused them of U-turning on the pay offer.
Network Rail had said it had a two-year, 8% pay increase deal “on the table ready to be put to our staff.”
November 3 will see RMT rail workers at London Underground and London Overground walk out, in separate disputes.
