Sun Sport – Notts Forest 0-1 Man Utd: Blood and Thunder
The back page of the Sun newspaper reports on Man Utd’s late win over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup fifth round.
The paper notes Casemiro – who scored the goal – was left with a bleeding head, and his single goal has set up an exciting match against Liverpool in the QFs.
Liverpool 3 Southampton 0: Jayden Danns scores twice after Lewis Koumas goal as Klopp’s kids set up Man Utd FA Cup clash
JURGEN KLOPP described Sunday’s Carabao Cup win as ‘one of the best football stories ever’.
Well there could be a few more chapters to write in it yet.
If anyone thought the foot would come off the pedal when the manager announced he would be leaving Anfield at the end of this season they can forget it.
Powered by his stars from the Kindergarten Kop he won the Carabao Cup at Wembley on Sunday.
They were excused their homework again last night and produced.
If Klopp feared his young guns might struggle after the headlines from the weekend he need not.

Nottingham Forest 0 Man Utd 1: Flukey win shows why Red Devils must axe deadwood as Casemiro sets up Liverpool clash
IT might sound like a proper ‘glory, glory Man United’ moment – an 89th-minute winner to settle a tense FA Cup tie.
But the decisive goal from Casemiro had an element of bizarre fluke, after another horribly flat performance from Erik ten Hag’s side.
A free-kick from Bruno Fernandes out by the left-hand touchline bounced in front of goal, Casemiro added the slightest of touches with his head and, after a lengthy VAR check for offside, Man Utd were limping into the quarter-finals.

Chelsea 3 Leeds 2: Gallagher nets last-gasp winner ease pressure on Pochettino as Blues edge out brave Whites in FA Cup
MAYBE no bottle but at least there is still one cup for Chelsea.
But only just as Conor Gallagher fired them into the quarter finals with just eight seconds of normal time remaining.
A nervous Chelsea had been pegged back and put under the cosh by Championship Leeds and appeared to be heading for extra time for the second time in 72 hours.
And with their recent record of tossing everything away, it was odds on that they would end up on the wrong end of another half hour or even penalties.
But Gallagher came off the bench and rescued his team with a cracking drive right at the death and set up a sixth round tie against Leicester City.
It doesn’t completely make up for the glaring miss in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final defeat but will go some way to easing the long-serving midfielder’s tortured mind following his Wembley error.
