Fans tell of drunken Wembley violence at Euro 2020 final and accuse stewards of taking bribes
The Times says outside the home of English football hordes of intruders rushed barriers, stewards allegedly took cash bribes and there was violence on the terraces. It was a night of drama off the pitch as well as on it at the final of the European Championship.
Known hooligans and gang members were among crowds of troublemakers who overwhelmed Wembley security to force their way into the stadium on Sunday, The Times understands.
