Iceland man Nick Poppleton plays it cool with Phil Mickelson
The Times says on Saturdays Nick Poppleton can be found doing the rounds in South Yorkshire as a delivery driver for Iceland. This week he’ll be doing a different kind of driving when he joins golf’s superstars to take part in the Open championship.
It is a reminder of why the Open is called the Open: lowly qualifiers can find themselves playing alongside the biggest names in the sport.
