With Heartstopper season 2 just around the corner, Netflix, to the delight of viewers everywhere, decided to drop a teaser trailer.
While there isn’t too much longer to wait for the blockbuster series to return on August 3, it’s a hard yes to any morsel of the upcoming instalment to keep us going for the next month.
Starring Kit Connor as rugby boy Nick Nelson and Joe Locke as shy boy Charlie Spring, the series follows the pair’s romantic relationship while studying at an all-boys grammar school.
And the teaser trailer, released just as the cast brilliantly flipped off religious protestors at Pride, shows more of their heartwarming love story.
The 30-second clip begins with Nick and Charlie sharing a tender moment on top of Paris’ Eiffel Tower as they gaze into each other eyes.
Viewers are then treated to more clips of their blossoming romance, including a smooch on the bed and a joyous birthday party.

‘WAIT ACTUALLY LIFE IS WORTH LIVING,’ an ecstatic Twitter user shared, while another confessed they ‘can’t stop watching’ Nick and Joe.

Also starring Yasmin Finney and William Gao, the first season was such triumph it was renewed for two more seasons – so there’s also a third series to start getting excited about.
But back to season 2, Yasmin – who is also set to star in Doctor Who – teased there are ‘so many things that happen with [her character] Elle this season that you’re not ready for.’
‘I would say Elle is different in that she’s more confident. She surrounds herself with people that elevate her.’
Lead star Kit promised ‘amazing’ scripts from Alice Oseman, the creator of the original Heartstopper graphic novels.
Fellow lead actor Joe added that his character goes on a ‘journey’ this time.
