Jane’s actions come back to haunt her (Picture: Amazon Freevee)
Jane Harris’ (Annie Jones) world continues to implode in Neighbours next week when she struggles to come to terms with the fact that the school might be closing.
The head teacher was left reeling earlier this month by the discovery that Erinsborough High’s future is in danger, with plans for the school to close surfacing.
To complicate matters further, a property developer is interested in the land for a new project, with the developer in question being none other than Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), who was tipped off about the school closure by Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone).
This has inevitably led to a huge war between the two friends, with Ramsay Street’s residents finding their loyalties divided over whether they’re Team Jane or Team Terese.
Jane has made it her mission to save the school, though has faced obstacle after obstacle.
The suspension of a student who was homophobic towards Dex Varga-Murphy (Marley Williams) over his mums led to several parents threatening to remove their children from the school.
Yes, really.

The stress of the situation results in Jane spiralling, with pictures for upcoming episodes revealing that something of a scene between she and Terese takes place in the corridors of the school, with Jane tearing up the proposed plans in front of a number of parents.
Her poor decisions result in her facing yet another upsetting blow, with subsequent scenes seeing her receive a contentious offer which leaves her absolutely reeling.

But just what is this offer? Can Erinsborough High be saved? Or is Jane, no matter how admirable, fighting a losing battle?
Jane returned to Ramsay Street earlier this month after taking a trip to the UK with longtime lover Mike Young (Guy Pearce), which saw the couple become engaged.
The storyline in question acted as actor Guy’s exit scenes from the show.
Neighbours streams Mondays to Thursdays on Amazon Freevee with new episodes available from at 7am.
