Nationwide debit card chaos as payments are DECLINED in shops and online
The Sun says NATIONWIDE customers have been plunged into chaos as a major outage means their debit card payments are being DECLINED in shops and online.
More than 100 issues were reported on analytics website Downdetector.
Problems appear to have persisted since this morning, as the issues started to crop up at around 8am.
But this afternoon more users are facing technical issues.
Almost half of reports on Down Detector indicate customers are having problems with online banking, while 31% of users were facing issues when trying to transfer funds.
