Daily Mirror – Murdered by a kid 30 seconds from home
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a grandad as he walked his dog in Leicester, the Daily Mirror reports. Bhim Kohli was 30 seconds from his front door when he was attacked. The paper also quotes a friend who says Kohli was a “lovely guy”.
The father of Baby P has spoken to the Mirror after the tragic toddler’s mother Tracey Connelly was hauled back to prison for breaching her licence conditions again.
Manchester City and England star Phil Foden is believed to be moving to the Cheshire countryside – just weeks after police were phoned about noise that sounded “like he was hosting a music festival”
‘Murdered’ Leicester pensioner, 80, was ‘abused and spat’ at by ‘anti-social’ children
A grandad allegedly murdered by a gang of children in a park had been previously terrorised by feral youths, a friend has revealed.
Tragic pensioner Bhim Kohli, 80, was walking his beloved dog Rocky when he was attacked just 50 yards from his home in Leicester on Sunday. Detectives are quizzing five children – a boy and a girl aged 14 and a boy and two girls aged 12 – on suspicion of his murder. The 14-year-old boy remains in police custody. The other four have been released by police with no further action.
Friends said popular Bhim, a former factory owner, was spat at by teen yobs outside his home earlier this summer. He called police after being subjected to vile abuse when he told them off for climbing on a neighbouring garage roof.
Friend Graham Haldane said Bhim complained that it took three days for officers to respond to the complaint. It is not clear if any action was taken against the children. Locals also claimed feral youths terrorising the local community had thrown rocks at the pensioner in recent days.
Baby P’s dad says Tracey Connelly ‘can go to hell’ as killer landed back behind bars
Baby P’s father has welcomed the decision to recall the tragic tot’s mum to prison two years after her release.
Tracey Connelly, 42, was jailed over the death of 17-month-old Peter who suffered horrific injuries while in her care in Tottenham, north London, in 2007. She was released on licence in 2013 but was hauled back to jail two years later for selling pornographic pictures of herself online.
The evil mum was controversially cleared for release in 2022 but is now back behind bars after breaching her licence conditions again. Reacting to the development, Baby P’s dad said on Wednesday: “I was obviously happy that she had gone back to prison.
“They informed us that she was back inside, but they didn’t tell us why. We don’t know how long it will be for either, but it must be pretty serious. To be honest, I just don’t care about her; when I hear that something has happened I just shrug. She can go to hell for what she did so far as I am concerned. She is nothing to do with me now.”
The 60-year-old, currently in hospital because of long-term health issues, told how he tries to forget about what his evil ex did to his son. He said: “Obviously it never gets easier. I go up to Peter’s grave whenever I can, to remember him. It will never go away. That’s why I can never forgive her, and I never will.”
Phil Foden moves house weeks after police complaint as removals firm show off classy gift
Manchester City star Phil Foden looks to have moved house – weeks after police were called about a rowdy party at his mansion.
Removals firm Warrens posted a photo of a signed Number 47 City shirt on social media, with a message from Foden thanking them. It said: “To Warrens Removals thank you so much for your help with the move.”
The firm replied: “Normally Phil provides the goals and assists but on this occasion we provided the assist and achieved our goal. Thank you so much for choosing Warrens. What a complete honour.”
A message from a member of staff said: “By far, greatest moment of our careers, what a top lad and weekend it’s been.” Another wrote: “What a Legend and lovely family absolute honour to meet them all.”
It is believed the family has moved to the Cheshire countryside. A source said: “He’s moved into the countryside somewhere, to get away from it all, it’s close to a fishing lake because he loves fishing!”
