Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher has sought fans’ approval after testing out a new look on social media.
The actress, who plays Nina Lucas, took to Instagram to ask her followers if they think she should get a fringe, using a clip-in to demonstrate what the potential new look would look like.
The 25-year-old asks her 107k followers what they reckon, adding a poll to her post to allow them the option of voting.
‘Should I get a fringe or not? What you thinking?’, she said in the video, posted to her Instagram stories.
Mollie was taken aback when most users voted no, but she urged them to reconsider, commenting that her current do didn’t really ‘look like a fringe’, but was more ‘Hannah Montana’.
‘Yes I did go online to find this [clip-in] because I thought: “Why not?”, added the former Dancing On Ice star. ‘In case it looks really bad, why risk it when you can get this?.

‘Even if it looks a bit bad, but now I know.’
After giving it some more thought, the cobbles star decided that she was ‘getting a fringe,’ before styling her hair into a bun with the attachment still in place.

Mollie subsequently took to social media to ask audiences if Nina ‘suits the fringe’, before taking the clip-in out and, later, she confirmed on her Instagram stories that she had actually taken the leap and ‘got the fringe’.
We love it.

The 25-year-old star made her Coronation Street debut back in 2019, when Nina was introduced as niece of long-standing street icon Roy Cropper.
The character has become a fan-favourite, featuring in a number of high profile and hard-hitting storylines over the years and we couldn’t imagine the eponymous street without her!
