Mohamed Salah posts injury update ahead of Liverpool’s clash vs Arsenal
Mohamed Salah has posted a positive injury update ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.
Salah was forced to return early to Liverpool from the Africa Cup of Nations after suffering a hamstring injury in Egypt’s 2-2 draw with Ghana on January 18.
Jurgen Klopp was adamant that Salah would have been allowed to return to the Africa Cup of Nations if he recovered before the tournament ended but Egypt were dumped out of the competition after losing to DR Congo on penalties in their last-16 tie.
Salah missed Liverpool’s Premier League match against Chelsea at Anfield on Wednesday evening. The Reds went on to thrash Chelsea 4-1.
