Shops give mixed messages on mask-wearing after July 19
The Times says shoppers face a confusing array of rules on masks from July 19 after Sainsbury’s suggested that people could ditch face coverings but other retailers reserved their positions.
Boris Johnson announced on Monday that mandatory mask-wearing would be scrapped in England, encouraging people to take “personal responsibility” instead.
