Andrew Tate has responded after Coronation Street star Adam Hussain apologised for ‘liking’ a number of his tweets.

Adam, best known for playing Aadi Alahan on the ITV soap, issued an apology earlier this week, stating that he ‘wasn’t aware’ of Tate’s background when he liked the tweets, nor would he ever ‘endorse’ such views.

Tate, whose misogynistic views have caused controversy, is currently being investigated in Romania alongside his brother Tristian over suspected human trafficking, rape and sexual exploitation of women.

Throughout Tate’s time under house arrest, many tweets were sent from the self-proclaimed misogynist’s Twitter account, issuing claims that the truth was being ‘concealed’.

The former kickboxer-turned-social-media-personality addressed Adam’s apology on the social media platform, with a screenshot of an article discussing the soap star’s apology, writing: ‘p***y’.

‘I teach men to become filthy rich,’ he wrote in a second tweet.

‘You can be an actor – but they still have you by the balls. He agrees with me, but backtracks like ickle p***bowy or he gets FIRED. Money is ULTRA important to escape the slave mind.’

Adam’s apology came after The Sun reported on his interaction with Tate’s tweets, asserting that he wasn’t across Tate’s background.

In a statement, he has said: ‘I’m really sorry if my “liking” of these tweets has caused any offence to our viewers and my colleagues.

‘I wasn’t aware of Andrew Tate and his background and I would never endorse those views.

Adam has been featuring in some big scenes on Coronation Street this week, after he took revenge on Aaron Sandford, who raped Amy Barlow, writing the word ‘guilty’ on his head while he slept.
