Erling Haaland’s furious bust-up with Tottenham star as new footage emerges
MIRROR SPORT SAYS Erling Haaland had to be separated from Giovanni Lo Celso as the duo clashed following Manchester City’s thrilling draw with Tottenham.
Spurs scored a late equaliser through Dejan Kulusevski, with Lo Celso having netted the visitors’ second goal at the Etihad Stadium. Lo Celso was substituted off just after his goal and was making his way back onto the pitch to shake hands with the City players when he clashed with Haaland.
The City striker was storming off after being left furious with referee Simon Hooper’s decision to bring play back for a free-kick rather than play advantage in the late stages of the game. Haaland had reached the touchline when he crossed paths with Lo Celso.
