The back page of the Daily Mirror newspaper leads on Liverpool’s draw against City and what it means for the Premier League title race.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City’s remaining fixtures as Premier League title run-in begin
The race for the Premier League title intensified after Liverpool and Manchester City held one another to a 1-1 draw in an enthralling encounter on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola’s side took the lead in the 23rd minute through John Stones, before Liverpool responded to equalise moments after half-time as Alexis Mac Allister scored from the penalty spot. Both teams had chances to win it, but neither could find an elusive second goal and they had to settle for a point apiece.
The result keeps Arsenal, who beat Brentford 2-1 on Saturday, top of the table until at least after the international break later this month. The Gunners have won their last eight Premier League matches and are looking in a strong position to win their first title since 2004.
