Millie Bobby Brown plans action against Hunter Echo
British actress Millie Bobby Brown, star of Stranger Things, and her team are planning to take action against 21-year-old TikToker Hunter Ecimovic after he alluded, in an explicit Livestream, they had a relationship.
The now-unavailable livestream (recorded clips are still available online) saw Ecimovic – who goes by the name Hunter Echo – speak explicitly and crudely of an alleged sexual relationship he had with Millie when she was 16 and he was 20.
The livestream came shortly after photos were leaked of the pair kissing.
In the livestream, Hunter said he “groomed” Millie, and said he “was living in Millie’s house for eight months.” After sharing explicit sexual details he added “Everything I did was completely legal.”
“It was approved by everyone that I was with.”
According to Complex, Hunter lives in California, where the age of consent is 18.
Hunter also said “I will never apologize—I hope you know that. I have nothing to apologize for, so make that clear. I have zero things to apologize for.”
His Instagram and TikTok have both been deactivated.
In a statement sent to Teen Vogue, Brown’s representatives said his claims were “dishonest.”
“Mr. Ecimovic’s remarks on social media are not only dishonest but also are irresponsible, offensive, and hateful,” representatives said. “Instead of engaging in a public discourse with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to ensure that he stops this behaviour once and for all.”
It was not confirmed or commented on whether the two were ever actually in a relationship or what kind of action they are referencing.
Insider reports Hunter denied grooming Brown in a comment on TikTok before deactivating his account. “I never groomed her. I never put pressure on her to like me,” he reportedly wrote.
