Millie Bobby Brown announces she’s engaged
Millie Bobby Brown, the 19-year-old star of the hit series Stranger Things, has announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi, an actor and the son of rock icon Jon Bon Jovi.
Brown shared a photo of herself and Bongiovi on social media, along with the caption: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all” – a song lyric from Taylor Swift’s song Lover. The caption also featured a white heart emoji.
Bongiovi shared the news on his own page, writing “forever” alongside two photos of the couple.
The couple had been together for two-and-a-half years prior to the engagement. Brown rose to fame as a child star on Stranger Things, and Bongiovi recently landed his second major acting role in the coming-of-age film Rockbottom.
The announcement follows weeks of social media speculation about the couple’s engagement.
