Milan police have arrested 19 individuals in a crackdown on football ultras, many of whom are accused of mafia ties. Among those detained are prominent figures Luca Lucci and Renato Bosetti, leaders of the AC Milan and Inter Milan ultras, respectively.

Lucci, previously convicted on drug charges, was famously photographed with Matteo Salvini, leader of the far-right League party and current deputy prime minister in Giorgia Meloni’s government, in 2018.
