Boat carrying 40 migrants starts sinking in English Channel sparking rescue
The Metro says: A migrant has been airlifted to hospital after a boat carrying around 40 people began to sink in the English Channel.
The vessel is believed to have begun filling up with water as it headed for the UK this morning.
A cargo ship reported the boat in difficulty off the coast of Dunkirk, saying some people were already in the water.
The crew sent a lifeboat which pulled man who was not breathing from the water and took them to a French Navy vessel.
