Energy firms could be forced to ration energy at peak times this winter, according to the front of Metro. The paper says both homes and businesses could face power cuts lasting three hours a day this winter.

The paper uses the headline “winter of disconnect” and says the potential electricity rationing during peak times is due to the on going gas supply crisis in Europe escalating.
