Clark Dearson, 10, is a year six pupil at Saint Pierre School, in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.
He was elected by 600 fellow schoolchildren after predecessor Harry Acheampong went off to secondary school.
Clark said: “I am honoured to be the elected Prime Minister of the Sir David Amess Children’s Parliament and hope to change the lives of the country’s children forever by serving them in the best way I can and helping them be the best they can be.”
Naila Seetal, 10, from Glendower Preparatory School in South Kensington, West London, was named Deputy PM and Aryan Shekar, 11, of Westminster Under School, was elected Chancellor.
The Wakelet Microsoft 365 Children’s Parliament, backed by the Daily Express, honours the late Sir David Amess, who was murdered in 2021 after serving as a Tory MP for almost 40 years.
Supporters Anna Firth MP and Baroness Uddin joined youngsters for an election gathering.
