Mum vows not to return to McDonald’s after ‘homeless man left in tears’
The Daily Express says A DISGUSTED mum has vowed to boycott McDonald’s as she claims staff refused to let her buy a hot drink and food for a homeless person.
The woman stopped at a branch on Friday evening to buy her son a meal and saw a homeless man “absolutely frozen” stood outside the entrance. Temperatures had plunged and winds speeds were up to 98mph as Storm Arwen swept across the nation, so the mum offered to buy the man a hot chocolate, warm apple pie and doughnut.
But the mum of two claimed employees on the drive-thru at the restaurant near Vauxhall, Liverpool, didn’t let her, citing safety grounds.
