Mark Wright has interviewed many global superstars as part of his former job as a presenter on Extra TV, and he’s now revealed that not all interactions were positive.
The 36-year-old recalled one instance where he encountered a pretty awkward-sounding celebrity in his career.
The reminiscing came after Jamie Laing enquired as to who the ‘biggest diva’ is that Mark has encountered in his line of work.
After pondering for a short moment Mark replied: ‘It’s an English Hollywood actor. I can’t tell you how how bad she was to me.’
He explained that the interaction took place at a junket, where he had to speak to multiple stars from the same TV show.
He asked each of the five actors the same question to open proceedings, which was: ‘So series one, it was violent, it was aggressive, it was a bloodbath – how does series two compare?’

While the first four people Mark spoke to were happy to answer, he claimed the same couldn’t be said for the mystery interviewee, while appearing on a podcast.
‘She goes, “Let me just repeat what you just said, okay? Violent. Bloodbath. Aggressive. I look at someone like you how I look at someone who would masturbate over a romantic sex scene in a movie. When actually, that’s art.”‘
She went on to call Mark a ‘male chauvinist’, and summarised that he didn’t understand artistry, he recalled.

Jamie, 34, was visibly shocked at the dialogue that was revealed on Private Parts podcast.
Mark alleged that the interviewee asked if he had any more questions to which he pondered how he was going to react.
‘I can’t hold my f*****g tongue. She’s a big star though right. So I looked down and went that’s it, that’s all I’ve got.

‘So she said, “That was a waste of time wasn’t it?” I said, “No, for you it was, not for me.”‘
Mark went on to tell her that he’d had four successful interviews with her co-stars, and she would be the only one not making the cut in his segment on the show.

He ended the interview by telling her that she needs to learn how to be polite.
As part of his job from 2017 to 2020, Mark interviewed many famous faces including Mariah Carey, Jane Fonda and Margot Robbie, which seemed to go much better!
