Mark Wright and his wife Michelle Keegan’s interiors Instagram has proved a huge hit with fans.
The couple’s social media page, Wrighty Home, as racked up more than half a million followers and they go wild for glimpses into the stars’ sprawling Essex mansion, each aspect of which has been expertly designed by Mark and Michelle.
It won’t come as a surprise to hear that the property is absolutely stunning, and we couldn’t wait to ask Mark, 36, a little more about his eye for interiors.
Metro.co.uk had the pleasure of catching up with Mark as he gears up to run the London Marathon next month with his brother Josh, mum Carol and dad Mark senior.
Teaming up with Flora, the family hope their impressive feat will raise awareness about the simple ways others can enhance their lifestyle and diet.
Speaking to us this week, the former Towie star revealed he has the best mindset when it comes to online negativity and even told us who takes the lead when it comes to designing his and Michelle’s home.

Touching upon his passion for property, Mark explained: ‘I’ve been doing property stuff with my dad for years now. Property is a massive part of my life. I’m doing an apartment in Mallorca right now.’
He went on: ‘We built a house and documented it and people took a liking. They seem to follow along and enjoy it.’
Unfortunately for Mark, even something as innocuous as interiors attracts trolls and negative comments.

How does the star deal with people’s critical comments online?
‘I’ve never been one to be bothered about negative comments,’ he said with reassurance.
‘Everyone’s got different tastes. You go to one person’s house and they’ve got purple walls. The next person’s got blue walls.’
Mark continued: ‘You might get people saying, “Oh, I don’t like that”, but the next person will say they love it. As long as we love it, that’s all that matters.’
And who takes the lead interiors-wise, him or Michelle?

‘It’s a bit of both. We both love our interiors [and] we’ve both got the same taste.’
