Margot Robbie proved why she’s the perfect Barbie as she kicked off press for the highly-anticipated film in a pink outfit straight out of Barbieland.
The Aussie actress kicked off the press tour for Barbie in a pale pink mini skirt and bralette top before rocking a bright pink polka dot cross-neck dress in LA that screamed ‘I’m a Barbie girl’.
Barbie is set to be the film of the year, going head to head with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, but the dedication of leading lady Margot has sent fans into a frenzy.
Posting on the official Barbie movie Instagram, Margot grinned from a light pink convertible, blonde hair perfectly falling around her face as she rocked pale pink sunglasses and a tiny pink top and skirt.
The look was reminiscent of 00s Paris Hilton while still being utterly Barbie-esque, while her polka dot look toed the perfect line of sexy yet sophisticated.
Playing the Ken to her Barbie, Ryan Gosling looked dapper as he wore an understated cream and light pink cardigan over a white T-shirt and black trousers.

The actor has already won over anyone sceptical of his casting with his Vogue interview outfit which consisted of a Barbie font top that reads ‘Greta Gerwig’, styled with a pink bomber jacket.
Other actors joined the photocall in front of Barbie’s pink convertible including Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, and America Ferrera, all donning neutral colours to make Margot really pop.
Greta Gerwig, the director behind Barbie, was also spotted with the cast members rocking in a beige Prada jumper and skirt.
Of course, Michael Cera who plays Ken’s best friend Alan subtly mirrored Ryan’s look with a blue shirt over a black T-shirt and trousers.
The cast was joined by producers David Heyman, known for his involvement in the Harry Potter franchise, and Tom Ackerley who is also Margot’s husband.

If fans weren’t excited enough already, these pictures have sent them into overdrive, demanding the costume department win all the awards possible.
‘Whoever styled Margot for Barbie deserved an Oscar, a SAG, a Golden Globe,’ commented a fan.
‘She’s literally Barbie bro, she’s just Margot Robbie in disguise,’ joked another.
One added: ‘All the Barbie photoshoots have been top tier.’
The photoshoot comes after designer Sarah Greenwood admitted the ‘world ran out of pink’ as they were making the sets.
Even the white on set is actually a very pale shade of pink, adding to the overall pinkness of Barbieland.
From the pop-filled soundtrack to the existential crisis in the trailer, Barbie has fans desperate for more.
The film is set to arrive in cinemas on July 21, with fans planning a double feature of Oppenheimer and Barbie on that day.
