The Marble Arch Mound has been closed just two days after opening after being branded ‘the worst attraction in London’.
Visitors who paid £6.50 for a ticket felt let down, with some calling it a “trash heap” and comparing it to a hill from Tellytubby Land.
The City of Westminster Council recognized that the mound was “clearly not ready,” but did not explain why it was opened on Monday.
he mound was designed by MVRDV architects, a world-renowned design group located in Rotterdam, with the goal of creating new jobs and combating pollution.
However, it appears to be underwhelming now, especially in comparison to the amazing 3D design that raised everyone’s hopes.
