A map shows how Londoners voted in the capital’s mayoral race after Sadiq Khan won a historical third term as the Mayor.
Conservatives suffered heavy losses in the local council elections, marking a bleak time for the party ahead of the next General Election.
Labour took a landslide victory across councils and in mayoral elections, with Richard Parker winning narrowly in West Midlands and Andy Burnham with a bigger margin in Greater Manchester today.
In London, Sadiq Khan beat the Tory candidate Susan Hall by 43.8% to 32.7%.
Khan’s winning margin was 275,000 votes.
His victory came despite initial fears that the Ulez expansion last year could damage his popularity.
