Manchester shooting: Man in hospital with gunshot wounds as police hunt suspects
The Daily Mirror says a man has been rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds after a shooting in south Manchester.
Armed police swarmed on Copthorne Street in Longsight on Wednesday night, after reports that a man had been shot shortly after 7.20pm.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and treated the man, thought to be in his 20s, for multiple gunshot wounds, the MEN reports.
He was then taken to hospital, police confirmed.
