Manchester was turned sky blue last night and in wild scenes, fans partied in the streets to celebrate City’s Champions League triumph.
Rodri sealed Pep’s treble with a stunning strike in the 68th minute to ensure City defeated Inter Milan to seal a historic treble.
Supporters flooded Manchester city centre after the final whistle with some setting off flares in Piccadilly Gardens, as chants of ‘Champions of Europe’ rang around the streets following the 1-0 victory in Istanbul.
As police descended on the revellers to make sure proceedings ran without incident, one excited fan leaped onto the roof of a bus stop to get a better view of the carnival-like atmosphere.
One man was arrested for damage with a dramatic photo showing officers wrestling him to the ground.

A police vehicle was also smashed in the city centre amid all the excitement.
Some took the celebrations to the club’s Etihad Stadium, whilst the Love Factory fan zone on Dantzic Street where thousands had congregated all day continued to be a hive of activity long after full-time.
There, the final whistle was met with giant inflatables being launched into the crowd whilst pints of beer were seen being thrown in the air as fear turned to ecstasy.
It was reported that there was a sense of pandemonium at Mary D’s – the favoured haunt of City fans just opposite the stadium.
Fans reportedly climbed on tables, and threw drinks across the bar in delight, whilst at Mayfield Depot, ticker tape was let off as others looked on in a mixture of disbelief and elation.
The celebrations will continue on Monday as Pep and his winning side take an open bus tour through the city to welcome home their treble-winning heroes.
