A man who murdered the mother of his child and then chopped her body into at least 15 pieces has been jailed.
Kamil Ranoszek, 42, used smashed Ilona Golabek over the head with a hammer at least seven times while their three-year-old daughter slept in another room on November 9 last year.
He then undressed his girlfriend’s dead body, put her clothes in jars, hid them in the meter cupboard and cut Ilona’s corpse into bits.
The dad hid the body parts underneath the family’s flat, in Boston Lincolnshire, including in the bathroom that his daughter would have used.
In the early hours of November 11, Ranoszek cycled to a nearby park and dumped Ilona’s body parts which had been wrapped in bin liners and carrier bags.
He reported the mum missing and then ‘took steps to cover up his tracks’ by calling Ilona’s phone and reaching out to her friends ‘to make it look like he was trying to contact her’.
Judge Simon Hirst told Ranoszek: ‘The way you behaved after you brutally murdered Ilona was cold, heartless and calculated.’

Ilona’s body parts were found three months after they were dumped – but her torso is yet to be discovered.
Lincoln Crown Court heard how ‘all was not well’ with the couple before the violence broke out.
On the night of the murder, Ranoszek had been out drinking with friends and came home to find Ilona talking to a man she had met on Tinder.
The judge said: ‘Exactly what happened and why it happened is not clear, although it may well have been jealousy on Ranoszek’s part that Ilona wanted to end the relationship and had been messaging someone before he arrived home.’
Ranoszek was on Friday jailed for life and ordered to serve a minimum of 22 years.
Judge Hirst said: ‘The lies and concealment of Ilona’s body must’ve caused appalling agony and anguish through Ilona’s family and friends.
‘I do not accept that you only had an intention to cause grievous bodily harm rather than to kill. The brutality and the number of blows with the hammer are testament with an intent to kill.”
A statement from Ilona’s mum, which was read out in court, said: ‘I was not here during the whole trial because my aching heart would not be able to stand all the information of what happened on that day.
‘The information that I have is drastic enough. My daughter is in my thoughts every day, every hour.’
