A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was reported missing in east London.
Police launched an urgent search for a woman, aged in her 20s who vanished on Sunday, April 30 from an address in Orchard Place, Tower Hamlets.
Detectives ‘believe she has come to harm’ and her next of kin have been informed.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday, May 2 and remains in custody at an east London police station.
The man arrested and the woman are known to each other, police confirmed.
Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are investigating.
