Rafe Harcourt (Chris Gordon) sparks concern in Hollyoaks when he collapses in the village following his very public falling out with ex Sienna Blake (Anna Passey).
Sienna, as viewers know, was on a mission with ex-lover Ethan Williams (Matthew James Bailey) to fleece Rafe for everything that he’s worth, but ended up falling in love with the Earl in the process.
Don’t you just hate when that happens?
Ethan was left heartbroken, as were fans, who know that he and Sienna are meant for each other. Sienna, however, has been more focused on winning Rafe’s affection, knowing that life as a lady of the manor would make all her dreams come true.
The stage was set for her to get her happy ending at the masquerade ball last week as Rafe got down on one knee to pop the question but a shocking twist saw him propose to Camilla Bassington-Hart (Dylan Morris) instead.
Sienna was devastated, hoping she could make one final play for the Lord’s affections, but Ethan scuppered her chances when he revealed to Rafe that he and Sienna were previously trying to swindle him out of millions.

Despite Ethan’s inteference, Sienna is still hellbent on proving to Rafe that she loves him. Rafe made it quite clear that he can’t forgive what she did but Sienna reckons that he’s still in love with her.
After some advice from Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), Sienna decided that she was not giving up just yet, vowing to get Camilla out of the way.

She and Ste attend an event in the village which is in honour of Rafe’s grandfather, with Sienna telling Rafe and Camilla that she wants to extend an olive branch in the form of a coffee.
Sienna, however, is up to no good, intending to spike Camilla’s beverage. Shocking scenes ensue in the aftermath, with Rafe collapsing during Camilla’s reading.

Rafe, as fans are aware, is terminally ill, a fact which Sienna is currently unaware of.
Horrified by what has transpired, Camilla accuses Sienna of spiking their drinks. How will Sienna talk her way out of this one? What’s more, will Rafe be okay?
